Melissa Bretz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She obtained both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from The University of South Florida. A passion for caring and helping others has always been a priority for Melissa. Being a therapist is a life long dream come true and it shows in the work she achieves with her clients.
She enjoys working with children, adults, and adolescents conquering many of life challenges such as stress, low self esteem, family relational issues, loss, anxiety and depression. Therapy interventions mainly used are Cognitive Behavior Therapy CBT, Solution Focused, Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, Sand Play, Relaxation, Grounding techniques, and Play Therapy.

Katrina graduated from the University of South Florida with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling, along with a Graduate Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy. She operates from a trauma-informed integrative approach blending different therapeutic modalities to support each unique individual. Utilizing techniques from existential therapy, she helps clients find meaning and purpose, especially useful for those navigating life transitions, such as loss, and individuals experiencing anxiety and depression. Katrina assists individuals in uncovering their core beliefs and meeting their emotional needs through schema therapy techniques.
She helps clients explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to make choices that align with their values. She assists individuals in developing coping skills, such as mindfulness and relaxation strategies. When working with couples, Katrina uses emotionally focused therapy techniques to help each person express their feelings and needs, working toward secure attachment with one another. She assists families in developing problem-solving skills and deepening their connections with each other. Katrina sees clients both in-person and online through secure telehealth. Hannah holds a Master of Science (MS) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. With several years of experience in the mental health field, she has worked with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, providing compassionate and culturally responsive care.
While Hannah has extensive experience working with adolescents, she enjoys supporting clients of all ages and tailors her approach to meet each individual’s unique needs. She also has a background in addiction treatment, helping clients begin their journey to sobriety or maintain meaningful progress in recovery. Hannah offers a safe and supportive counseling environment for children, adolescents, and adults. Her approach integrates Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and elements of Relational-Cultural Therapy. She assists individuals in taking control of their stories and rewriting them to reflect empowerment and resilience.
Utilizing empirically supported treatments, she helps clients process trauma, build a positive identity, and express themselves creatively. Hannah also works with clients to develop coping strategies, improve problem-solving and emotional regulation skills, manage intense emotions, address interpersonal challenges, and respond effectively to emotional triggers. Maya Ammarell earned her Master of Arts degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Florida and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). She practices from a trauma-informed, person-centered, and solution-focused framework, emphasizing collaboration, empowerment, and respect for each client’s lived experience. Maya is committed to creating a safe, supportive therapeutic space where clients feel heard, validated, and encouraged to build upon their strengths.
Maya has experience providing individual and group therapy, working with adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations. Her clinical interests include supporting clients experiencing trauma, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. She works collaboratively with clients to develop effective coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and foster resilience while focusing on practical, goal-oriented solutions.
In addition to her clinical work, Maya brings a strong background in vocational rehabilitation and case management, which informs her holistic approach to treatment. She integrates mental health care with functional, social, and vocational goals to support overall well-being and long-term stability. Maya values cultural competence, ethical practice, and individualized care, recognizing the unique strengths and challenges each client brings to the therapeutic process.
Maya provides services both in-person and via secure telehealth platforms and works under the supervision of both a qualified LCSW and a qualified LMHC as she continues accruing hours toward LMHC licensure.
